Things I've learned from being a parent.

1. You see those dishes over there? That big pile? HAHA. You don't have time do them! But you know what? Dishes don't have feelings so they'll be fine right where they are.

2. You get sick to your stomach from seeing poo? Not anymore! Your baby will have quite a few doozies. Big old diapers full of it. Yay!

3. You don't have time for yourself anymore. And you have to become ok with that. People can say, "Oh, you just have to make time". But its so much harder said than done. I haven't had one day to myself since our sons been born. I will soon, it's just he comes first before me. I'm a firm believer in that.

4. Some friends will fade out of your life. If they do after you have a kid, maybe you shouldn't be friends with them anywho lol! Good ones stay with you for life and can wait a week or two for a phone call.

5. Its ok to cry. Seriously. It is :] No one should tell you different! Its a natural reliever and I've done it many o' times lol.

6. You know what true, unconditional love is <3 Theres nothing like holding your little one and looking at their cute little face. Just being in awe that this precious child is yours!

7. You hurt. Your boobies hurt. Your back hurts. Even your cooch hurts! Its not glamorous to say the least, but its worth it. But God dam its annoying lol!

8. You and your SO might be at each others throats. It happens. You're both sleep deprived, cranky and emotional. Just at the end of the day- try to do something nice for each other and always say I love you.

9. Ish is expensive. Baby diapers, food, toys, furniture, etc, etc, etc. But in all seriousness GET A COSTCO CARD!!!!

WOOOOOOOOOO!!! FOR FLIPPIN REAL. I"m so proud of myself!! Man, I'm one happy mama!

You wanna know what my secret was? NOT dieting. You heard me. I repeat! Not dieting! I mean I guess I kind of dieted. What I've been doing is just eating less. As an Italian- that's pretty hard. Mama likes her pasta lol But instead of eating a big ol plate of lasagna, I'll eat a smaller portion and have a salad. Still eating what I want and doing it well! I guess that's what has helped me. Like not putting a lot of pressure on myself. I work out when I can because obviously son and hubbers come first, But I always try my hardest when I do. I'm an emotional eater as well, which is the worst. So if I'm feeling blue, I'll do something else to distract me from eating. Oh! And I eat dessert. Yup :] Why deprive myself? That would make me crazy!!!! So- I've taken a liking to popsicles lol!

Another good tip is doing one chore a day. As they say- One chore a day keep the pounds away!! You like that? Totally made that up. :]

So, onward ho my loves because this mama is doing fab :] YOU CAN DO IT!!!
